Alexis Sangalang

Alexis is a Nutrition Educator with Drexel University’s SNAP-Ed Eat.Right.Now. program.

She received her bachelors from Montclair State University with a degree in Nutrition & Food Science. The organizations that Alexis has worked for are FoodCorps, The Food Trust, and NJ Department of Agriculture where she worked as a garden-based nutrition educator and a nutrition program specialist. She is excited to work in the city again to provide nutrition education to students and to help create sustainable, healthy changes in the communities.

During her free time, Alexis likes to go to music shows, explore new cities, hike, and spend time with her husband, family, and friends. Some of her favorite fruits and vegetables include mangoes, pineapples, beets, and sweet potatoes. But her absolute favorite foods are dim sum and empanadas.
