Vanessa Altidor

Vanessa is Nutrition Educator with Drexel University’s SNAP-Ed Eat Right Now program.

Vanessa graduated from Temple University with a B.S. in Public Health. She previously worked for Health Promotion Council in the same position which fortified her with experience in educating school aged, adults, seniors, transitional housing, homeless and other at risk populations in Nutrition Education.

She enjoys making nutrition and health information simple, relatable and relevant to her participants. She is excited about getting involved with gardening programs at her schools.

In her free time Vanessa loves spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and anything dealing with creative arts. She is also passionate about learning. Her favorite fruits are watermelon, red grapes and mangos. She also loves mushrooms, tomatoes, soft shell crabs and maiis moulin, a traditional Haitian dish.
